The last several months have been me flying in and out of several types of writer's blocks that I didn't even know exist, let alone was able to diagnose. However, this finally changed after seeing clips of the film TOTAL ECLIPSE on youtube. Arthur Rimbaud not only a sex symbol, but my inspiration. Seeing him played by the baby faced precocious Leonardo Dicaprio drove me right back into my proper place as a NOVELIST. Watching small clips each day kept my going, it was my air and water. TOTAL ECLIPSE is laced with the gift, the force, the intangible thing that I've fought to capture my whole life. So you can see why I was devastated to find that even the clips on youtube have been removed... by the user. I'm flailing, desperate to see the film again--, but it's nowhere to be found. My local rental store has closed down, and I'm broke and stranded at home. What can I do? I've spent my last pennies on a controversial translation of Rimbaud's poetry, which I'll be receiving in the mail. Oh the desperation.
